4 Stage Pull Sharpener

The WÜSTHOF 4 Stage Pull Knife Sharpener is safe and easy to use.

The WÜSTHOF Knife Sharpener can be adjusted to sharpen either standard or Asian-style blades. Each setting provides two stages of sharpening for a total of four stages.

First, operators can use a carbide sharpening slot to smooth irregularities and refine the angle of the blade edge. Next, the knife can be drawn through the ceramic sharpening slot to finish honing the blade to a refined, razor-sharp edge.

Because it can be switched quickly between standard and Asian settings, users don't need to purchase multiple sharpeners to keep all kitchen blades in functional form.

• Place the sharpener on a flat work surface and hold the E-Z grip handle with one hand and the knife handle with the other. Insert the knife blade fully into the slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener and pull back a few times to sharpen.
• After setting the knife's edge with the carbide side, use the unit's ceramic side to nicely finish the edge.
• First stage carbide (coarse) sharpens dull edges. Second stage ceramic (fine) provides a polished, razor sharp edge.
